At the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, Shaun White won Team USA’s 100th winter gold medal of all time. White was awarded the gold for men’s snowboard halfpipe, redeeming himself four years after crashing in his last run at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.

The U.S. has participated in the winter games since 1924 in Chamonix, the first edition of the modern Winter Olympics. After 94 years and attendance at all 23 Winter Olympics, Team USA has 100 gold medals and counting.
